About the Artist

Kevin is a fine art oil painter whose work emphasizes the faithful representation of the subject before him. He studied for 4 years under master painter Paul Ingbretson, a leading exponent of the “Boston School” approach to painting, which unites impressionist color and academic draftsmanship to capture a likeness. Following his predecessor, he paints from visual effects rather than from construction drawing or other step-by-step methods. As such, he can paint any subject matter from life, including still lifes, landscapes, portraits, and more. Significant thought is put into the composition of his paintings so that they are not only technically excellent but visually entertaining.

While Kevin’s training focused on painting from life, much of it translates to imaginative painting. He has completed a variety of Sacred Art projects, including the restoration of a church sanctuary and the decoration of a chapel with the Stations of the Cross. His inspiration stems from his Catholic faith and the beauty of the visual world. His mission as a painter is to make pictures that are beautiful and uplifting and to contribute to the restoration of the classic spirit of painting, which grounds itself in nobility, technical excellence, and tradition. 

Kevin resides in New Hampshire with his beautiful wife and daughter.

His work has been represented at a number of galleries but is currently only available exclusively through his website.
